Gaia
is alive
Magic never dies
Gaia Is Alive is a space for exploring eco-spiritual practices that nurture a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the living Earth.
In a time of personal and global crisis, many of us are searching for ways to respond — not only intellectually, but also emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. This platform offers practices that support that process.
Our work is not about escaping the world or bypassing its realities, but about re-entering it more fully. We do this through earth-based ceremonies, creative expression, and reflective practices.
This path is both devotional (honouring the Earth as our Mother) and socially engaged (caring for one another and the wider environment). Through this compassionate and relational approach, we cultivate a deeper sense of wellbeing that emerges in connection.
Our Mission
Ritual and ceremony are transcultural and transtemporal practices that provide structured, symbolic, and embodied support for change.
They can serve many purposes. For example, they can support transitions during times of uncertainty and help us organise and express experience in symbolic ways.
Ceremony is not only about individual change. It can also reshape relationships. It invites us to reconnect with others, with the wider living world, and with what may be experienced as something larger than the self, whether understood as nature, cosmos, meaning, or divine.
Why Ceremony?
At the heart of this work is a simple idea: wellbeing is not just something we have — it is something that happens between us. Between people. Between humans and the more-than-human world. Between body, place, experience, and the wider forces of the universe.
This work draws from ritual and ceremony, transpersonal and relational perspectives on wellbeing, systemic and ecological thinking, as well as Eastern philosophies and animist-informed spiritual practices. It is not tied to any single tradition, but remains open, integrative, and exploratory.

Group Ceremony:
To Gaia’s mind,
I am aligned
Immerse yourself in a ceremony for relational wellbeing. Inspired by the work of Joanna Macy and a broad spectrum of spiritual traditions, this four-part ceremonial experience is grounded in gratitude as a starting point. Together, we will honour our pain for the suffering of others, open our eyes to new possibilities, and commit to moving forward with love, care, and devotion to Mother Gaia.
This Earth-based ceremony offers a gentle yet deeply profound response to the challenges of a disenchanted world, inviting us towards greater connection with ourselves, one another, and the living Earth, while bringing a sense of magic back into everyday life.
The ceremony may take place indoors (Walthamstow) or in Epping Forest.
